August Wolf is a distinguished U.S. Olympian, successful Wall Street veteran, and principled conservative leader dedicated to advancing pro-business, limited government policies. Raised with Midwestern values in Minnesota, August earned his degree from Princeton University’s prestigious Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs, graduating cum laude.

His remarkable athletic journey exemplifies the American Dream—rising from humble beginnings through dedication and hard work to become a National Champion and earn a coveted spot on the U.S. Olympic Team in Los Angeles. This Olympic experience instilled in him the discipline, competitive spirit, and unwavering commitment to excellence that would define his career.

August built a highly successful 30-year career in institutional fixed income on Wall Street, where he developed expertise in capital markets and gained firsthand understanding of how excessive government regulation stifles economic growth and entrepreneurship.

In 2016, motivated by his belief in constitutional principles and fiscal responsibility, August answered the call to public service by running for U.S. Senate in Connecticut. Though he faced significant establishment opposition during his campaign, his political experiences in both Connecticut and Florida have equipped him with invaluable insights into revitalizing conservative movements and building winning coalitions.

After a period in commercial real estate in New York, August returned to Florida full-time in 2024, where he founded The South Florida Freedom Foundation, a 501(c)(4) organization committed to advancing common-sense conservative policies that protect individual liberty, promote free enterprise, and strengthen local communities across Florida.

A steadfast advocate for constitutional governance, fiscal responsibility, and free market solutions, August brings his proven track record of success, unwavering principles, and strategic expertise to the fight for conservative values at the South Florida Freedom Foundation.

August is the father of four children on their way in a troubled world. Just as his namesake grandfather came to the United States with his butcher knives for a better life, he hopes that South Florida Freedom will do that for millions of young Americans.
